The exhibition presents a new series of drawings, inspired by detective sketches. Their subject remains partly undecipherable: as if something many-limbed and slightly intoxicated were being examined within a room shaped by compromised unreliable and deceptive judgement.

Coeurtregetour , a word invented by the artist and loosely bubbling from the old term “tregetour” -- meaning magician or trickster, follows a playful chain of associations.

In Vasiljeva’s drawings, the characters move within a universe governed by its own logic, populated by absurd props, erotic chemistry, mischief and nonsense.
