The exhibition presents a new series of drawings, inspired by detective sketches. Their subject remains partly undecipherable as if something many limbed and slightly intoxicated were being examined within a room shaped by compromised unreliable and deceptive judgement.

Coeurtregetour a word invented by the artist and loosely bubbling from the old term “tregetour” meaning magician or trickster follows a playful chain of associations.

In Vasiljeva’s drawings, the characters move within a universe governed by its own logic populated by absurd paraphernalia, erotic chemistry, mischief and nonsense.
